We started our journey opening our first salon in Banstead Village, Surrey in 1997.
Our mission was to grow and nurture our team to become the best at what they love doing, delivering great quality hairdressing and customer service on every visit. This was so successful that the original premises soon became too small for the ever-growing team and a new branch was opened in Reigate .
Whilst our partnership grew into a company, it still remains to this day an independent family owned business, to which we are thrilled to say both of our sons have now joined, ensuring that the next generation will carry on the Charlie Brown journey.
All of our salon’s teams are trained to the very highest standards in partnership with L’Oréal Professional & Vidal Sassoon Academies. We have our very own L’Oréal master colour expert, which is the highest colour qualification in hairdressing that can achieved.
Of course, Charlie Brown wouldn’t be where it is today if it wasn’t for our loyal customers, who have been so supportive over the many years and for that we are truly honoured.

Abi was amazing! I have such horrendous hair it’s embarrassing going to the hairdressers but as soon as I walked in I was made... to feel so welcome and at ease. I had no idea what could be done with my dry fine damaged hair but Abi took the time to discuss options with me and she worked her magic. I’ve never walked out of a hairdresser actually liking what was done, especially the blowdry but I honestly love what she did. What really made a huge difference to me personally was how kind and understanding she was, at no point did I feel like my hair was a lost cause which is usually how I feel. Abi has been amazing in helping me get my hair strong and healthy to grow it long again after I damaged it in lockdown with home... colour kits. Abi recommended a mini treatment plan over the last 18 months which included certain shampoos and Fuso dose to strengthen my hair and I’m happy to say this has worked, I bought a few shampoo and conditioners Abi recommended.
